Projects are budgets for one-off efforts that don't fit the monthly rhythm of regular expenses — a kitchen renovation, a summer trip, a birthday party.

What a project tracks

• A budget target.
• The expenses assigned to it, so you can watch spend against the budget.
• Progress at a glance, so you know how much room is left.

Working with projects

Create a project from the Projects tab, give it a budget, then assign expenses to it as you record them. The project view rolls everything up into a single total and remaining balance.
